Integrated IMF Ultrafiltration Water Treatment System

Introduction:
We are a leading flexible flat sheet membrane manufacturer mainly specialized in flat-sheet membrane rolls with PVDF material, which are suitable for MBR and immersion ultrafiltration. PVDF's non-viscosity (low surface energy) gives it better pollution resistance. We adopt permanent hydrophilic modification, which can optimize the pollution resistance and flux. CPVC molecule has a lot of negative covalent bond chlorine in it, which makes the surface of the material more negatively charged, while most of the impurities in the wastewater are electronegative, so the fouling resistance property is also very good.

Our LR Series flexible flat sheet membrane module not only retains  the advantages of conventional flat membrane like high strength, easy maintenance, no backwash, high flux and low transmembrane pressure difference, but also include the advantages of hollow fiber membrane like high filling density, small footprint and lower gas-water ratio. At the same time, our products have the advantages of  extreme low replacement cost of single membrane, high welding strength and backwash available. Our MBR membrane wastewater treatment system can replace traditional biological wastewater treatment technology on a large scale and wide application ranges.

Membranes Stack/Cassette Unit:
Tank/Container Type Integrated Flat Sheet Membrane Ultrafiltration Module China ManufacturerLR flexible flat sheet membrane stack/cassette consists of rectangle membrane, sealing ring, spacing strip, central water collecting pipe and two ends baffles. Membranes and sealing rings are putted on the center pipe one by one and then pressed and sealed by the baffles on both sides. After filtered by the membranes the wastewater first enters the support passage and then collected to the central water collecting pipe for export with the activated sludge keeping out of the diaphragm. The pore size of these membranes is 0.03-0.1μm while the material is most commonly used PVDF.

Flat Sheet Membrane Ultrafilter/UF Module
The flat sheet membrane ultrafilter is an integrated flat sheet membrane ultrafilter developed and produced by integrating a number of advanced membrane manufacturing technologies and application technologies. The difference between flat sheet ultrafiltration membrane and traditional UF membrane is that its pollution resistance is stronger, combined with the latest enhanced aeration cleaning technology, its  flux can be 30-120LMH, the life of traditional ultrafiltration membrane is generally about 3 years, and the life of flat sheet membrane is basically more than 5 years. There are two application models, one is a flat sheet ultrafiltration membrane cabinet applied to small systems, and the other is a container type UF system for large systems.

Technical Advantage
High quality flat sheet membrane: LR flat sheet membrane is made of high-strength, high-gram weight PET non-woven fabric and high-quality PVDF material. The membrane formulation has good hydro-philicity, the membrane fractional hole area is greater than 80%, and the upper and lower two layers of film and the intermediate flow guide net are welded together to form a flat sheet membrane. 
Large flux: The fractional hole area is greater than 80%, and the water from the center hole is uniform to avoid the top effect.

Modular Design
At present, the ultrafiltration system on the market generally has only one membrane tank or one set of equipment (column ultrafiltration), so that the entire system can not produce water when the system is backwashed or repaired, affecting the stable operation of the entire process. LR flat sheet membrane ultrafilter divides a whole into several independent operating units, each unit is equipped with an independent water production valve, and the operation does not affect each other, and each independent unit can share the aeration blower, concentration system and backwash system, and is used separately through timing control, reducing the power of some power equipment.

Simple Operation and Maintenance
Thanks to the excellent diaphragm pollution resistance flat sheet membrane ultrafiltration system only need aeration flushing during normal operation. Compared to other types of ultrafiltration system requiring regular backwashing operation it is relatively simple.
Through the optimization program, the inner membrane system can produce water normally in the stage of aeration flushing, and the intervention of enhanced aeration flushing prolongs the time interval of system drainage, and the overall water production rate is greater than 90%.

Technological Process Design
Upgrading of sewage plant/WWTP effluent
With the continuous improvement of the discharge standards of sewage treatment plants, more and more sewage treatment plants with the original grade A effluent water quality are upgraded to the surface class four water and class three water, LR flat sheet membrane ultrafilter has the advantages of small land area, stable effluent water quality, and no need for civil construction, which is a good choice in the sewage in-depth treatment process.
Reverse osmosis pretreatment
Traditional process: RAW WATER→FLOCCULATION + PRECIPITATION (OR WITH PH ADJUSTMENT MEANTIME)→SAND LEACHFEEDWATER
The traditional flocculation + sedimentation + sand filtration technology treats the water or reuse water needed by the factory by adding PAC, PAM, due to the pollution of the water source, the drug dose is getting larger and larger, which brings a large number of chloride ions or sulfate ions, which are continuously concentrated in multiple reuse, and finally lead to the paralysis of the ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and RO systems in the reuse water system. Moreover, the solid waste generated is also very much, and the accumulation and treatment costs of solid waste have become a big burden for the factory. Surface water and recycled water can be treated well without adding flocculants using our flat sheet membrane ultrafilters. No need to add chemical agents, saves costs, and achieve harmless emissions at the meantime.

Purified water Production tap water
The flat sheet membrane ultrafilter can be used in the production of tap water instead of the traditional flocculation precipitation sand filtration process. Compared with the traditional process, our flat sheet ultrafilter has the following advantages: good water quality, high microbial safety, strong impact load resistance, short construction period, small footprint and so on. Compared to other forms of ultrafiltration membrane, flat sheet ultrafilters have greater flux, longer life and greater adaptability to high turbidity water.


Equipment Selection
Small water filtration system (≤1000t/d)
For the system of small water volume, we recommend the joint design of membrane cabinet, which combines membrane pool and membrane frame together, saving space and cost.
The system can be directly jointed by several membrane cabinets according to the total water production, and the whole system only needs one equipment room. Filtered water is produced by suction pump or artesian flow (artesian flow requires a height difference of 3 meters).

Large water system (> 1000t/d)
The system for large amounts of water can be separated in the form of internal container, the membrane pool is divided into several water production units, and the equipment can be set up separately or integrated with the membrane pool.


Project Case
Zhoushan 2000 tons daily ultrafiltration water project
The project is located in Zhoushan Islands, Zhejiang Province, where fresh water resources are scarce. The project uses ship ballast water to purify tap water for port use. The customer selected one of our LR-IMF3000 flat sheet membrane ultrafiltration water purification system, the effluent turbidity is less than 1NTU, and the quality of the produced water reaches the tap water standard after disinfection. The original process of the project used flocculation and precipitation, and the river water quality was unstable and often had floating mud. After switching to our flat sheet ultrafiltration system, it was stably operated for more than one year, and the system water production rate was greater than 95%, which was fully recognized by the customer.

Jinhua printing and dyeing factory 1500 tons daily reclaimed water reuse project
The customer's original reclaimed water reuse process is that the effluent from the secondary sedimentation tank enters the reverse osmosis system after column ultrafiltration. Due to the increase of its own water volume, the effluent suspended matter is too high due to the high load of the secondary sedimentation tank, and column ultrafiltration is often polluted and blocked. In order to solve this problem, we choose ten sets of LR-IMF160 ultrafiltration membrane cabinets, after using our equipment the effluent SDI is less than 3, which meets the reverse osmosis water intake requirements. The suspended solids containing characteristics of our flat sheet membrane ultrafiltration system are also fully displayed.
